HIGH-PERFORMANCE QUENCHING OILS WITH VERY FAST QUENCHING SPEED
DURIXOL high-performance quenching oils distinguish themselves by their very fast quenching speed. They are used primarily for quenching in continuous lines and shaft furnaces with open quenching systems and for quenching in immersion baths after flame and induction heating.
The superior product stability ensures particularly high process reliability. The quenching oils require minimum monitoring and bath care, yet boast virtually unlimited service life.
High evaporation resistance, low viscosity, low specific consumption and particularly good cleaning properties ensure unsurpassed economy even at difficult applications.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE QUENCHING OILS WITH FAST QUENCHING SPEED
Characteristic for our DURIXOL high-performance quenching oils with fast quenching speed is their intensive and at the same time particularly low-stress and low-distortion quenching behaviour. The oils are therefore suited for a wide range of applications in terms of materials, components and heat treatment processes and offer maximum flexibility for use in multi-purpose chamber furnaces, shaft furnaces, pusher type furnaces or fixture hardening systems.
The superior product stability ensures particularly high process reliability. The oils require minimum monitoring and bath care, yet boast virtually unlimited service life.
The extraordinary high evaporation resistance of the oils combined with their low viscosity allows a very good throughflow even through tightly packed batches. Due to the good washability there are advantages with regard to the surface quality. The low specific consumption also enables low process costs.

MULTI-RANGE QUENCHING OILS WITH LOW-DISTORTION QUENCHING PERFORMANCE
The most important feature of the DURIXOL and SYNABOL multi-range quenching oils with low-distortion quenching performance is their increased and at the same time particularly low-stress quenching characteristic. The oils are therefore particularly suited for quenching of parts made of high alloy steels and components with complex geometries prone to distortion and cracking. They enable uniform and low-distortion hardening results.
The special product concept of the multi-range quenching oils also allows adjustments to the quenching characteristics by increasing the oil bath temperature.
The superior product stability ensures particularly high process reliability. The oils require minimum monitoring and bath care even at high application temperatures, yet boast virtually unlimited service life.
The exceptionally high evaporation resistance of the oils allows particularly consistent cooling over the entire cross section of a batch. Increased stability of dimension and form will in addition contribute to the lowering of process costs

MARQUENCHING OILS
DURIXOL marquenching oils are characterised by an extraordinary mild quenching performance. They are used for quenching of components of varying sizes and geometries that are particularly prone to distortion and cracking.
They are also suitable for tempering as well as seal cup oil.
The oils show a very high evaporation resistance and a very high flash point. A particular advantage, apart from the extraordinary low-stress quenching, is the superior thermal stability and minimal need for monitoring and bath care.

VACUUM QUENCHING OILS
DURIXOL vacuum quenching oils provide controlled, low-stress quenching characteristics and are easily degassed. The oils have only a low tendency to absorb moisture and enable particularly bright component surfaces.
The oils are designed especially for use in vacuum furnaces with integrated oil baths. They supplement the high pressure gas quenching process where steel quality and component geometry demand higher quenching performance.
The oils show a very low oil vapour formation and have a high evaporation resistance. The unsurpassed thermal stability with simultaneously minimum need for monitoring and bath care is a particular advantage.
